Journey to Understanding: Palestine & Israel Unveiled is a thought provoking exhibition designed to shed light on the active present-day genocide (2023/2024) in Gaza, and the ongoing Israeli occupation of Palestine. The exhibit encompasses a combination of graphic information panels, videos, contemporary artworks and installations, film screenings, and expert speaker panel discussions. The exhibit aims to create a space for dialogue, empathy, and a deeper understanding of this enduring issue and includes peaceful forms of resistance and activism such as joining the Museum staff and community at the national protest in Washington DC during the grand opening weekend to show their support for the Palestinian people.
